This Summer, it’s happening. I’m making my feature directorial debut. Enoch Allred and I have been working hard on writing on a script currently titled Legends of Minigolf: The Falmingo’s Challenge, the seeds of which were planted while shooting Patrick Svensson’s Hopscotch Hotshots in 2004. We still have a lot (most) of the cast and crew to line up, but today I launched the project’s (admittedly sparse) official webpage.
I’ll be moving back to Provo in the Summer to direct it. It’s a sports comedy-cum-naturalistic drama about a guy whose life is getting back on trail and the mini-golf supervillain who derails it.
